Doctor

James Powell

Dr. James Powell is a graduate of DePauw University in 1974, where he received his B.S. in Zoology. He then received his D.V.M. at Purdue University in 1978. Dr. Powell has practiced in New Port Richey since graduation and resides with his wife and three daughters. Dr. Powell is a past president of the Suncoast Veterinary Medical Association. He is also a current member of the Florida Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Information Network.

Sheryl Chewcaskie , Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners Specializing in Canine and Feline Medicine

I graduated from Fordham University in 1989 with a B.S. in Biology. I then received my D.V.M. degree at Tuskegee University in 1994. I became a board certified specialist in canine and feline medicine in 2004 after successfully sitting for the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners examination. I am happily married with lots of furry "kids" (1 dog and 4 cats). I am a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the FLorida Veterinary Medical Association, the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, the American Animal Hospital Association, and the Veterinary Information Network (VIN). In my spare time I enjoy gardening and have grown lots of my own vegetables.

Amanda Holtz , Practice Manager

I graduated from St. Petersburg College in May of 2001 and received my degree as a veterinary technician. I have been a member of All Pets Hospital since 2000 and was promoted to Practice Manager in October 2007. I love working with and helping animals. I feel very honored to be part of a great practice and team here. I have a wonderful husband and 2 daughters. We also have a full house with 2 dog, and 4 cats who were all rescued from All Pets Hospital.

Ms. Sandi Kirby , Head Receptionist

I have been a member of the All Pets Hospital team since 2003. My personal pets include 3 cats that all have interesting personalities that make them great pets. I really enjoy working here because I enjoy helping our clients and visiting with their pets.

Ms. Kelley Long

I was a previous employee of All Pets Hospital for 5yrs and just recently returned to my All Pets family in December of 2007. I have a yellow lab named Lexie and a boxer/rott mix named Roxy.

Technician

Ms. Regina DeCroce , Certified Veterinary Technician

My name is Regina "T-Rex". I am a Certified Veterinary Technician and have annoyed my co-workers for 3 years. My friends call me T-Rex due to the shortness of my appendages. I have 2 kitties: Mortimer is my favorite cat who lets me make him dance and Eleanor who is a wild terror. I am trying to figure out a way for Mortimer to make me money as a model because he is so beautiful.

Melanie Velasquez

I have been a part of the All Pets Hospital team since May of 2005 as a veterinary assistant. I have 1 dog, Buddy. I also have 3 kids (a boy and 2 girls). I enjoy working in this environment, helping the animals.

Natalie Powell

I have been an assistant of the All Pets Hospital team since April of 2007. I enjoy working here to gain experience for my future plans of attending vet school. I have a goofy Golden named Boomer that I love very much.

Nicole Kelly

My name is Nicole and I have lived in Florida my entire life. I grew up around dogs and now have 2 dogs of my own and 1 cat. I just recently joined the All Pets Hospital team in November 2009. There is not a day that goes by that I do not love my job.

Kennel

Mr. Pickles , Clinic Mascot / Couch Potato

I was an orphaned kitten that everybody overlooked... all my siblings got adopted, but no one ever considered me! So the great people at All Pets decided that I could just live here forever. WOW!!! You can usually find me laying on the front counter. I enjoy greeting clients when they walk in.

Miss Spaz , Clinic Mascot / Computer expert

I was an injured orphan that barely survived. Thanks to all the TLC at All Pets, I am doing just great. And, they even sent me out to another vet for special surgery to fix my injured front leg!!! I love these people here!!!
